The original 289 V8 has been freshly rebuilt and has less than 200 miles since completion. The engine has been bored .030 over and fitted with a new crank assembly, Lunati hydraulic camshaft (284/488), Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, performance clutch, headers, and Mac free-flow mufflers with trumpet-style exhaust tips. The result is an estimated 300+ horsepower with a deep, aggressive exhaust note.
The suspension and braking systems have also been completely upgraded with Scott Drake front suspension components, new shocks and springs, and front four-piston disc brakes, providing significantly improved handling and stopping power while maintaining the classic driving experience.
